BALAK and a Refreshing Twist of Fate

Hello Everyone,

Because there are so many dark episodes in Jewish history, we savor the moments and the eras, which highlight Jewish strength and independence.

In our Torah portion called Balak, we learn about two such moments:
In one instance, Israel is feared rather than victimized. In the second instance, an anti-Israel curse is transformed into a blessing.
