The Torah portion of Hayai Sarah weaves together two life-cycle experiences: One about death and one about marriage. Together these stories offer a guiding principle about the character and essence of individual and collective Jewish life.

One additional note: In recording these videos, I am somewhat demanding of myself but not a perfectionist. Like the present occupier of our White House, on occasion I may get tongue tied.. I could redo a specific video until the presentation is 100% perfect. However, I am not looking for a sanitized version, but for an opportunity to offer my thoughts as naturally as I can. Therefore, if on occasion I slip up, such is part of being real and not rehearsed!
