Rabbi on the Portion: Lech Lecha and the Value/Limitations of Blind Faith

Total or Blind Faith can sometimes be noble and other times be irresponsible and even destructive.

In this week's portion, Abraham and Sarah display a noble faith in their future and in their new God.

In contrast, today's world places its destructive trust in a murderous organization continues to threaten not only Israel but the entire world.

I offer a (slightly lengthier) video in memory of the 1400 Israelis murdered in cold blood by Hamas.
