B’haalot’kha and A Test of Faith

Hi and Happy Juneteenth,

This week we will revisit the topic of God and our ongoing challenge to believe.

The Torah portion this week, Bhaalotcha puts both God and Moses to the test.

Although I do not believe in summarily dismissing God from our existential conversations, I do believe that our uncertainty about God is both recognized, and encouraged by Jewish tradition.
