HACHODESH and Reflections on Our Future

Hi All,

Skeptics and nay-sayers are apt to dismiss the Torah as an anachronistic document long out of touch with modernity.

I beg to differ. In fact, I believe the Torah offers astute and brilliant insights about living as Jews today.

This week's special Torah reading HACHODESH is a perfect illustration.

In anticipation of the new month of Nisan (the month of Passover) we read about the first Passover in Egypt. However, the narrative goes far beyond the limited scope of an ancient observance.

Tune in for more!

Shabbat Shalom,

Am Yisrael Chai,

Rabbi Klayman
