B’Shalakh* 2024 and a Muted Song

Hi All,

This Sabbath we will celebrate Shabbat Shira/The Sabbath of the Song. The Torah reading includes B'nai Yisrael's triumphant song, led by Moses and Miriam.

For many of us, however, the Shira this year will be sung with muted voices.
