Hello Everyone.

Outside of the fortunate few, who enjoy life with a silver spoon, most of us encounter hardship and pain as an inevitable feature of living.

Can we withstand our respective hardships and emerge with any sense of optimism?

In the Torah portion Vayiggash, one central character describes his life in the most pessimistic fashion.

Is his assessment accurate? How do his words impact our lives today?
