VAYETZE and Confronting Loneliness and Isolation

Loneliness. Isolation. Separation.

All of us can recall moments of abandonment in our lives, whether brief or long term.

Our Torah portion of Vayetze, narrates the ongoing story of our early Patriarchs and Matriarchs, whose life and leadership led to the eventual formation of b'nai yisrael as a physical and spiritual nation

Yet, the narratives rarely expose the fear or anxiety encountered by our forebears throughout their journeys.

In this week's video, I offer thoughts about some of the missing narrative in Jacob's story:

A narrative which undoubtedly includes many instances of the fear and anxiety the Torah omits.

Please tune in for further insights...

Shabbat Shalom,
Am Yisrael Chai,

Rabbi Klayman
