Lake Success Jewish Center will remain and continue as an egalitarian Conservative synagogue in the space you have grown to love and cherish.

This continuity allows you to uphold the cherished traditions and keep the memorial plaques that honor loved ones in place, as well as allow the comforts of being In one's own home and space. There will be a Conservative Rabbi specifically for the Lake Success Jewish Center to lead services at the LSJC, While LSC will continue to have their services in their location.

Within this merger there will be joint programs, events and holiday programming offered for all to join. LSC comes with hundreds of families who will be part of the merger for holidays, events and exciting programming. Many of these families may be looking for a conservative run synagogue and now will have that option of joining LSJC for exactly that.

In addition, Eliot Wolf who Is the current Co-President of Lake Success Jewish Center and plays a pivotal role in your current Shabbat services, has graciously offered and will remain as a liaison throughout the merger and afterwards and will continue to play a leadership role in ensuring stability and continuity.

As well, Mel will continue in his current role, also ensuring stability and continuity within the synagogue's operations. LSJC current members will be offered 3 years of FREE Membership guaranteed, as well as the possibility of more, LSJC members will also have a FREE year of Hebrew School for children &/ grandchildren.

This merger presents a wonderful opportunity to unite two synagogues within our village, showcasing a beautiful display of unity. It will infuse youth and vitality into our community through joint programs and events. These programs include the Jewish Art Zone, Smiles on Seniors, and Exciting Game Nights.

These offerings will enhance our community life and provide enriching experiences for all ages. Most importantly, this will help allow LSJC to be a hub of Jewish Life, Jewish Life Cycle Events and Secure a Bright Jewish Future, fostering Jewish continuity right here in South Great Neck, in Lake Success.

A; We will be merging in all respects, besides services. We will have joint programming of the many exciting events, programs and clubs offered. This will bring an influx of people, elderly and young and a vibrant youth club ensuring a stronger Jewish future. Some of the programs include Monthly Challah Bakes.

Cooking Clubs, Book Clubs, Round Table Torah Talks. Smile on Seniors, Cyber Seniors, Jewish Art Zone, Men’s Club, Sisterhood. Holiday Programs. Game Nights, Comedy Shows, Shabbat Dinners, Teen Club. After School STEM clubs, Kids in the Kitchen, and a thriving Hebrew School.
