Crisis on Campus

Crisis on our college campuses
Dear Friends,
I am presently listening to a Hillel sponsored program about the threats to Jewish students. Our children are scared and they are facing heightened security needs. University faculties are often cultivating hatred and the university administrations have demonstrated an inability to show any backbone.
With all the global oppression, only the the Jewish community is singled out for such hatred and ignorance. Campuses include students from China, Iran, and South American countries which oppress their citizens. Yet only Israel seems to be demonized-and the activities on campus are not merely anti-Israel, but clearly anti-Semitic. Jewish students are randomly attacked without the perpetrators knowing anything about them or about their beliefs. Perhaps many of these students believe in a two state solution but no one seems to care. Extremism and intolerance rule...
Some of us still have students in college and grandchildren in college. Below is one article which offers some direction. I hope to send you a recording on the Hillel program now online.
It was never my intention to bombard you with phone calls and emails. The state of emergency for Israel and the Jewish people compels me to do so...
We pray for an end to hatred, ignorance, and the Anti-Semitic assaults on our children.
